What is the best way to find out dead domains?
I thought I could check the domain expiry date, but fileave.com for example, even though is dead, has an expiration date till May 2012
Attempts to download the index.html from fileave using wget times out, but that could happen to any site & can't be used as a criteria to identify dead domains or can it?
Does anyone know of any other reliable way to do this?
