Very often software authors left messages especially for reverse engineers in their code. Not only virus creators. Some time ago I saw a very pathetic message(comment) in a legit program asking for reversers to not make a patch for his program because he(the author) has a family to feed. Of course I don't make patches, but that messages are very interesting indeed and sometimes funny.
