I have posted some details on this new variant here: http://www.sudosecure.net/  if your interested.  Looks like July may the Storm month as they have been very busy and it's only the 9th day.  lol

Also be very careful in researching this new variant as the DDoS retaliation attacks have returned, so don't do wget happy or LWP loop happy without caution, as you may just get DDoSed.
