I had used Colinux in the past,back in early 2005 i think,and it was a bit unstable...but that's years ago since obviously.
Damn Small Linux is pretty nifty for quick linux-related tasks,it tuns via qemu though...

hehe only distro I've managed to get running properly in Qemu is DSL :), though this was via MobaLiveCD;
